Chiropractic care is led by Dr. Anthony Van Hoof, DC, supported by our front-office chiropractic assistant, Claudette Searle.

Your first visit is a $40 New Patient Special designed to get to the root of your pain. It includes:

  • A consultation to discuss your health history and goals.
  • A physical assessment (chiropractic and spinal exam).
  • A personalized care plan tailored to your needs.

We will explain all findings and get your comfortable, informed consent before any treatment begins.

We treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues, including:

  • Spine & Joint Pain: Back, neck, and shoulder pain, joint stiffness, and headaches.
  • Injuries: Sports injuries, personal injuries, and ICBC/automobile accident recovery.
  • Specialized Care: Gentle spinal adjustments, posture correction, and targeted upper-cervical chiropractic.

No, you do not need a referral. Chiropractors are primary contact health professionals in Ontario, meaning you can book an appointment directly with us at any time. (Note: While we do not require a referral, a small number of private insurance policies might require one for reimbursement; we recommend checking with your provider.

Typically, yes, but only if it is clinically safe to do so. After your comprehensive examination, if Dr. Anthony Van Hoof determines that chiropractic care is safe and appropriate for your condition, we often begin your first gentle treatment or adjustment during that same visit to start your relief process. However, if your assessment reveals complex issues that require external imaging (like X-rays) or medical clearance first, we will prioritize your safety and delay treatment until we have those results.

Care plans are individualized. Techniques may include manual adjustments or gentler, tool-assisted methods (e.g., Activator)—we’ll discuss options and your comfort level before any care.

Yes—direct billing is available for many major extended-health plans. Bring your benefits card and photo ID, and we’ll guide you through the process. (Coverage varies by insurer and plan.)

Yes—your plan may include self-management strategies (mobility, ergonomics, and exercise) to support recovery and help you maintain results between visits.

Yes — the clinic is open Monday–Thursday early morning (6:45–10:00 AM) and later afternoon/early evening (3:00–6:00 PM). Fridays and weekends are closed. If you need a true “after-hours” or weekend slot, call to confirm any special accommodations.
